After work today I was lucky enough to go for a game drive with Paul and his guests. During the drive we saw an old male lion that looked very hungry as his ribs were showing, giraffe busy eating leaves from the top of the bushes, a large flock of Helmeted Guinea Fowl spread out all over the track, a dead puff adder on the track (it looked like its head had been run over), a beautiful Long Tailed Paradise Whydah, blue wildebeest, springbok and white rhino – mother & calf that ran away from us.

We then came across a pride of lions. There were two lionesses, a young male, two cubs and a male lion. The two little cubs were very playful with each other and with the sub adults. I really enjoyed watching them. It was now time to start going back to the lodge, so that we would be back in time for dinner!
