Quiver tree

The trunk of the quiver tree has been used as a cooler by farmers who hollowed it out and stripped off the bark. The trunk resembles a rough sponge texture. The "device " would stand in the shade of a tree with a water bag hanging above it, constantly dripping water on the tree trunk which had a wooden door in front of the hollow which were dug into the trunk.

You have spend a lot more time in this area of the country to get to know it. I cannot tell you anything interesting about this picture accept that it looked like a good picture at the time. Next time it should have a story to it.
