Greetings from Cape Town,
I hope that everyone is doing well. Just wrapping up my second day in Cape Town and I'm just amazed by the beauty of it. I have never seen a more beautiful city, between Table Mountain and the ocean it's just gorgeous. Andrea and I hiked up Table Mountain and it was amazing, what a sense of accomplishment but better yet is the view from the top, if it doesn't take yur breath away than something must be wrong with you.
Today we toured Robben Island and actually got to see Nelson Mandela cell and where he wrote "A Long Walk to Freedom".
We than lazed around Victoria And Alfred Waterfront shops, nice shops but quite pricy.
Tomorrow we're off on our overland safari, quite excited! That is when the real adventure will begin. Tim, our tour guide, Zoe and Amy (from Sussex) are really cool, we're all on together until Nairobi, the 5 of us are doing South Africa together, 19 others join in Johannesberg.
Loving the trip so far. Hope all is well back home. I will try to update again soon, most likely when we get to Jo'berg.

Hugs and kisses from South Africa,

Melissa
