What kind of condament is this?
Next stop from Hermanus is Mossel Bay. MB is quite a bland little fishing village with a European feel to it, but it is still nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. We are starting to settle into our travelling routine of eating, walking, lunching, exploring, relaxing, eating, drinking and sleeping. Here we did 6 or 7 km of a 13 km cliff walk where we saw lots of native flowers and colourful birds plus a pod of dolphins frollicking just behind the breakers. We managed to get ourselves locked in a typical Saffa high fence, security estate when we tried to navigate our way back and just as I was about to jump the fence, someone came along to let us out. Skinny Mini Henderson didnt have to climb the fence as she could slip straight thru it! We both wish we were more into surfing as MB has four or five surf breaks that were all working when we were here and there were only a handful of surfers enjoying them! We made some cool friends at the backpackers here, one of which christened our tent Maatian HQ as it's a massive dome compared

to all the other tents and is spaceman silver! We also organised a Braai (bbq) at our backpackers for some of our friends, two of which from Sweden musn't of understood what we were doing as when we got the fire going they cooked themselves some pasta and announced they were vegetarian. They could have just said they didn't like the look of the chef! We had cold sausages and steaks for brekky lunch and dinner the next day, even the resident dog had never eaten so well! One of the highlights of MB was the spice kitchen sign that we are actually going to email to Roves "what tha?" so look out for it. When we left MB on the Baz Bus (Bazza) it took us around the other side of MB revealing a long stretch of beautiful beach that we had no idea existed. Once again, awesome surf but no one to ride it. I can feel you all cringeing! Next stop Wilderness.
