Monday -Hermanus

Left Somerset West about 11ish, Vivienne arrived about 9 (before we were up). Stopped off at a wine farm for some wine tasting but too early in the day for V and I. Drove on to Hermanus which is a lovely coastal town with amazing views, lots of restaurants and shops. Had a lovely lunch then went for walk along the front. Picked up some groceries and drove on to our villa. Arrived about 5.30 and unpacked and got a washing on! The villa is high up (not as high as Camps Bay) and has 6 bedrooms on three levels all with terrace and sea view, huge dining table and large outside seating area with plunge pool. Am writing this watching the sunset with a gin and elderflower tonic - this is the life.
