Well we are finally here in Africa! Cape Town is beautiful. The weather hasn't been so great but we are still enjoying ourselves. Yesterday after spending the last 24 hours on planes and in airports we just decided to explore the V&A Waterfront. There were a few African song & dance street performers, lot's of little markets and the beautiful back drop of Table Mountain.

Today we had our Table Mountain Tour... When we were about to leave it started raining and the cloud was so thick that we couldn't even see the mountain... Oh Well, our Tour Guide Lance made the day still interesting even though the Cable Way was closed.

We first went to the Malay quarter where all the houses were all different colours. We have a good photo but can't upload at the moment. We went for a drive through the city and then Lance took us to a diamond factory... It was pretty interesting but unfortunately there were not any diamond purchases 😞 hehe.

After that we went to the African museum where we saw stuffed versions of all the animals we will hopefully see over the next few weeks. And then onto

a Castle where we went to the top and looked back over all of the city. We were lucky enough to see the changing of the guards there too and they let off a cannon ball as well.

Now we are back at the hotel and about to book a very exciting trip for tomorrow... More news then 😊
