Well, after two attempts at leaving the berth we are still tied in at the Royal Cape Yacht Club.

The engine troubles, consisting of both a faulty gearbox and the engine being out of alignment have both been sorted out now. We're back to square one again, i.e. waiting for a good weather window!

From this morning's forecast, we're going to be having NW winds all weekend and as well as till Tuesday, not such good news, although we don't have a timetable and there is no real 'rush', Cape Town is expensive and I know I would rather be spending my moola somewhere like Brazil. So it looks like we might be here until Wednesday now, might just have to start knitting some scarves.
