Well - still here in Cape Town, engine troubles yesterday just before our 'almost' departure for Saldanha. Guy coming tomorrow to hopefully fix it all up - apparently a gear box malfunction.

VERY windy outside at the moment, just about to head back to the boat for some much needed 'shut eye'. Tomorrow might be the big day, hoping it is - as much as Cape Town is a beautiful city I think we all are ready to sail on out!

With an expected 16 hour sail, if we leave tomorrow late afternoon, we should arrive in Saldanha sometime during the day.

Sailing from Cape Town to Brazil then possibly on to the Caribbean. Stop along the way to Brazil include St. Helena, possibly Ascension Island and Fernando de Noronha.... full info
