Traveling on, we arrived at Isimangaliso Wetland Park. It is here that we had our first view of the Indian Ocean. The park is bordered on one side by Lake St. Lucia, the largest inland body of water in South Africa, and the Indian Ocean on the other side. Still astounding
I had never thought of a vacation in South Africa before. As a continent Africa sure gets a bad rating... Looks like you are finding some spectacular places to visit. I'm sitting at my desk at work having lunch and enjoying your trip. Were there any great white sharks in the area? Not something I'd like to dive with. Thanks again for posting.

Phoenix Update
Just got back from an early round of golf ...it's going to be 85F here today. February has been very busy but lots of fun. Lots of golf, visits with the kids and newest grandbaby (check out my Facebook for pics), a trip to Lake Havasu with cruising, now 5th wheel trailer, friends highlighted by a great jetboat run up the Colorado River and sighting a family of 6 mountain sheep, a visit from my brother and his wife who managed to do more sightseeing in one week of touring with their rental car then we have done in 3 winters here, and catching a minor but aggravating cold each. We're off to Sacramento next week to visit with Andrea and the family and then it will be time play some more golf before starting to think about the trip home after Easter weekend. Really enjoying your blog and pictures. David is getting much more enthusiatic about our trip ... thanks for sharing.
