1.Piracy still continutes in modern day. In Somalia, many pirates have hijacked hundreds of items from other ships. Piracy brings in lots of money for the pirates. The pirates would take people as hostages and make people pay ransoms.

2. To stop piracy, it takes highly trained fighting forces. Also, the army has helped to stop piracy too. It takes lots of money to get these people to hunt down pirates. I think there is only one solution that can solve this. We should make a treaty with the pirates, so we can stop all this at once.

3. I do not think piracy is ever justifiable. It is unnesscary to have people steal from others to make a living. People work hard to get what they have and it is not fair to have someone just take it from you. Piracy just leads to more problems.
