What types of music is popular in Nigeria?

In Nigeria, they dont really have many different forms of muisc genres like the U.S do. There are many kinds of Folk music that is played there. Each genre of their music teaches the people about their ancestory or culture. The Hwana , for example, believe that all songs are taught by the peoples' ancestors, while the Triv give credit to named composers for almost all songs.
