Today is our wedding anniversary! Simon got me a cup of tea in bed. Christo removed our shock absorber to avoid anymore damage. He has fastened the brake pipe up with zippies. Best of all I managed to get some apple pie! Christo has gone off on a long journey to pick up a shock absorber for us and another van. He also has someone waiting for a clutch.

We have slowly made our way to the next site, Sesriem, close to the Sousslevi dunes. There we found that 5 of our party had got stuck in the sand inside the camp and had to be pulled out by bulldozer. Mark and Chris had a tyre disintegrate on the way but managed to put the spare on and get the spare tyre put on the spare wheel.

Now having lunch in the bar trying to keep cool. The sand is so hot you can't walk on it. Plucking up courage to brave the heat to get to the pool. Life is tough!
