Monday morning and sitting in the foyer of the Protea hotel in Walvis Bay on west Africa coast in Namibia. The sun is out and there is a faint sea mist in the air - along with a stench of brine - not too pleasant if truth be told. The trip over was eventful in a small 11 seated ‘putt…putt…putt’ Air Namibia plane that had my stomach knotted. Not being a great one for fairground rides, and having last been on the big wheel aged 8 and throwing up, it was not really my idea of fun but it was a great view of the Namibian desert at least. Oh well, RMS St Helena awaits me this afternoon and next stop St Helena. Love to all. Cheers. PCx
