i am sat on the cab
am still having an amazing time, last two weeks have gone so fast, have now got use to the bumpy roads, dust and dirt, have never been so filthy in my life! from swakopmund we travelled up the skeleton coast to the huge seal colony at cape cross and then on to spitzkoppe which are amazing rock formations in the deset, climbed to the top for sunset. Then onto Etosha national park, so many animals! saw my first rhinos and went out on a night game drive. Saw a leopard try to catch an impala it was very exciting, loads of lions and everything else too, we were really lucky to see so much although an elephant got a little too close to the truck!
Had jackals fighting outside my tent, sounded like fin and nellie and apparantly the rhino was just behind me!
Etosha was just beautiful and would definitely go back, last night we spent the night with the bushmen and we have been playing with bows and arrows this morning with them. In a place called rundu now just on the angolan border tomorrow we head out in canoes for the okavango delta, am so excited, we will be camping for a couple of nights in the middle of nowhere with just the hippos and crocodiles.
