Braii on the beach and other fun

Derek, Annika and Bryan were having a braii on the beach and invited us to join them. We figured they would not eat until late and so said we would join them after dinner. Nice grilled chicken, salad and potato salad.

Joined the group on the beach who were just getting started with their fire. Had a great time visiting with them, laughing and talking about all manner of things. Once they got the fire going and it had burned down, they put the meat on. Learned something new about how to tell if the meat is well done, medium or rare. You press on it like you would press on your hand with your fingers. It seemed to really be correct as they did give us a taste and it was done to perfection. May try it someday!

Were joined by another couple from England, Karen and Daniel. We all had quite the time telling stories of travel, life's journey's and so on. Finally made it up the hill to bed.
