Spiders everywhere, their eyes shine like diamonds on the ground at night

Lots of crabs too, of all sizes

One of the tiniest chameleons

Excellent camouflage

Yet this one turns white at night!

Love their tails

And rotating eyes

In fact the eyes don’t rotate but their eyelids do

But this is the real test. Gecko on right hand side of tree

Second most expensive, after saffron. In Madagascar there are no insects that pollinate vanilla so it has to be done by hand, slow & painstaking which is why it is so expensive
