I have now been on the Anastasis Mercy Ship for one week and it has been a week of new and exciting learning and adjustments. It's wierd to think that I am in West Africa, because I live on a boat that has airconditioning. And sometimes because the ship is so big, I forget that I am on a ship. The Africans have amazing outfits and dress up a lot on sundays out of respect for God. This may be their only nice outfit but they will wear it proudly!

One of the many sunken ships that are near the Ship Who knows when they were actually sunk. It is said that this one was not loaded properly so it tipped and ended up sitting. They basically just abandon them then.

This is one of the bridges that was destroyed during the war if you can see in the middle it's totally busted!

Here is a whole view of the Anastasis from a neighboring dock. She is beautiful. about 65 years old and ready to retire.
