Hello All!

We leave today for our journey to Kenya and the Vihiga Children's Home. I'm just finishing my last minute packing ... and making sure I know how to use this site. Looking forward to writing from Kenya!

We leave in exactly one week for Vihiga, Kenya. There are 10 of us traveling – mostly members of Thomas Jefferson Unitarian Church (TJUC.org). We are spending nearly all of our 14 days in Kenya at the Vihiga Children's Home, the orphanage that TJUC supports. We hope to accomplish many things, including setting up the library for the children, visiting trade schools for children who do not pass the high school entrance exams, and spending time with the children.
