Following heavy rains in the Aberdares ranges over last week, Ewaso Nyiro River broke its banks on the morning of 1^st December causing flush floods that affected most of the lodges and camps in Samburu and Buffalo Springs Game Reserves.


Samburu Game Lodge was slightly damaged in Block 70 but the rest of the lodge is operational as normal.

Larsens Camp suffered some damages and will remain closed for clean up and restoration to normal operating standards in the next two weeks.

We will have 12 tents in operation by 17^th December, 2011.

We will keep you updated on the progress.
