We found today a bit of inaccuracy in the old joke about what do you do if you see an Ethiopian drowning. Because we had dinner in an Ethiopian restaurant called the Blue Nile and it was delicious. AND we didn't even finish it, which prompted us to remember our mums telling us to think about the starving kids in Africa when we refused to eat liver or vegetables or whatever. Oh and the food was amazing - a bit like a selection of Indian-style dishes served on a huge pancake which serves as the plate and that you use to eat it all with.

What else? Our breakfast was fantastic - a box of freshly chopped up fruit from a roadside stall with a surprising attention to quality. It was probably the best breakfast of our entire trip. And to make the day even better we coincidentally happened to be in a bar with a TV when the Manchester City vs Preston FA Cup tie kicked off (a 3-1 victory, naturally).
