SUGGESTIONS OF WHERE AND HOW TO CAMP IN THE EGYPTIAN DESERT?

Hello,

My partner and I are heading to Egypt very soon. I am hoping that someone might be able to advise on a few questions that we have.

Once we arrive in Aswan, we are hoping to trek and camp for about a week learning about Bedouin culture. We would like to end up in Siwa.

I am wondering of anyone on this blog might be able to recommend the best way of going about this.

We are looking for suggestions as to who are
-great guide, (someone who will not present a sanitized and Westernized version of local culture)
-where to go,
-Can we stay in Bedouin style tents. How do we go about arranging this?
- possible issues to be avoided.
