After breakfast at our hotel, Evy and I decided to go explore the town while Joshua and Benjamin relaxed at the hotel. Rather than follow the paved shoreline path, we walked out the driveway of our hotel and along to the main road. We seem to be one of the final hotels in the strip, so most of the town is in from us. We popped into a few of the stores to get an idea of prices for things like t-shirts. The store people here are not nearly as aggressive as they are in Luxor - the whole place seems to have a more laid back atmosphere.

Towards where the main road finally reaches the seaside path, we found a store that was a post office of sorts, and managed to buy some stamps, but we really need to mail Joshua's school work home, and this place doesn't do packages, so we will have to go to the other part of the Dahab town, some distance away.

We passed the rest of the day doing school work at the hotel and enjoying the oceanside atmosphere.
