The Road to Cairo
Hi, if you visit airflights.co.uk and search for flights from the UK to Hurghada you will be able to book long stay flights eg:Tuesday 16th June you can buy a flight duration of 185 days for £299 (YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FLY BACK TO THE UK ON THIS TICKET) plus many more in excess of 90 days. Once you arrive in Egypt you have to have visa, and if you are long stay you then get an extended tourist visa for 1 year plus a 6 months muti-entry visa. this we had. We booked and paid for flights from Manchester 29th Dec 2008 returning 1st May 2009 We were not allowed to fly back on the booked charter flight because we had exceeded the 90 days, this was after double checking with Airflights. Both Airflights and Thomas Cook know the rules but are still selling air tickets with that knowledge, surely this is wrong!
