Transport central, Luxor to Khartoum and back to Cairo using every transport imaginable and living life like a local, glad I'm a Canadian.

Luxor is an amazing city. Luxor is a hot city and Luxor is a tourist trap. These things being considered I loved the city for its architecture but hated it for its cutthroat hassling. Basically there was no view...just desert and gold mines in the deserts of northern Sudan.

Again these pyramids are different, they are skinny and on a much bigger slant than those at giza, also much smaller but still amazing pieces of ancient architecture.

It seems the Romans enjoyed these pyramids as well, seeing as there were remains of roman architecture in the near sorrounding area.

Sudan has police checks everywhere and if you don't have your visa and visitor permit in order you will have trouble.
