Low Tide After another fun filled morning at the beach, we piled into the cars for our trek back to Cairo. Oh, but not before Tracy put up a fuss about the 5% food and beverage discount we are entitled to, being Apache employees. Tracy finished up and left me standing to pay the bill while she organized the cars. We saved a whole 10LE...$2. Tracy has officially been in Egypt too long! Another nostalgic journey down the desert highway...bittersweet. Then back in Cario just in time for rush hour traffic. Oh the sights and sounds of Cairo...horns honking, people dashing out into the traffic...inshaallah. Colorful and overcrowded trucks, fruit and baskets for sale, and DUST everywhere! We made it home safely just in time to say "hi" and "bye" to Jackson and Zachary, it is Thursday night you know. The old folks stayed home and enjoyed wine and pizza.

Desert Highway?
What's nostalgic and bittersweet about the desert highway? "Down a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair. Warm smell of colita's, rising up through the air..." I just caught up with all the days I have missed. Now I'm subscribed and won't miss another. Glad you are enjoying yourself.
