Elanor, Catherine, and Melacca Today was the last day of school at CAC (Cairo American College). I attended the elementary closing ceremony where Catherine and Trevor sat with their old classmates and wished everyone farewell. There were many students and teachers leaving Cairo forever…too many tears and hugs. We took some beautiful photos on the elementary playground under the red flame trees in full bloom. Catherine went to spend another day at Brynn’s house. Caroline went to the Maadi House for a swimming party. Trevor and I went to Tracy’s for lunch.
Carol Kochick invited Tracy and I (Trevor tagged along) over for afternoon margaritas on her balcony and boy was it HOT! Carol’s baladi ritas were very refreshing…thanks Carol. I don’t think there was a single topic we didn’t discuss. I LOVE my girlfriends!

It's really nice that the kids were able to see their old classmates one more time...I'm sure you had all of that planned a long time ago. Seeing you having all that fun is making me nostalgic for our vacation there!
