We have been doing all of these things...we h... Read Full Entry

We were pretty squooshed (sp?) in our little first class cabin! But we had fun on the overnight train ride from Cairo to Luxor (note that we opted to fly back) ;)!

Some of our scenery on the train ride. The palms were incredibly gorgeous and lined the nile.

People can take hot air balloon rides over the Luxor area. This was the morning view from our boat when we arrived and settled in at Luxor

Great coverage of a glorious trip!
Hi guys. Came across your page when researching Egypt for a novel I'm writing. Loved your intimate photos. Just what I was looking for. Now I really want to go! As a super coincidence, except for Egypt, I've been to all the other places you've covered in your blog, AND i live in Thailand. I've been to Cambodia many times, before and after the great face-lift of Phenom Phen around 2003 or so. When I returned last in 2010, I thought I landed in a different city. It was unrecognizable from before. I wish you both the best in your future travels together. Sawatdee Krab, Stuart Land
