Hi Everyone,

We are currently at the town of Kasane in Botswana and just visited the Chobe National Park on an early morning game drive.

With over 55,000 elephants, Chobe has the highest elephant population in Africa and is the premier wildlife spot in Botswana - unfortunately for us, it rained early this morning and we didn't see a single elephant! The joys of wildlife viewing :-(

Anyway, we have seen some cool stuff in the last couple of weeks so I will try and do a proper blog entry with photos etc sometime over the next few days.

In the meantime, we wish you all a fantastic and very happy entry into 2008!

Cheers,

Dan & Janice

Happy New Year
Thanks for your latest update. Happy New Year to you both. I hope you're not going to Kenya. I just saw on tonight's news that there is rioting and violence - close on civil war going on there. Tourists are being advised to leave. I don't want you two getting mixed up in something like that! Take care of yourselves, Love from Auntie Carrie xx
