Is it worth paying for the Fly Clear service in the US if you travel frequently???

I keep seeing this service offered in some of the US airports I travel through. The one thing that has kept me from doing it is the fact that it is not in every airport yet (want to make sure I get a good return on my investment).

Has anyone signed up for this yet, and does anyone have any feedback???

It is a service offered by a private company and the TSA to speed up the security process at the airport. There are special lines and decreased security requirements (the participants have already undergone a lot of pre-screening prior to arriving at the airport). Reply to this

That does not seem worth it to me WIW.
Sure I would like to avoid the security screening at the airport but it is not THAT bad. It usually only takes around 20 mins to get through the line waiting and the security check. Granted u often have to go through the annoyance of taking off your shoes and taking all your cosmetics out of your bag but I still would not think it is worth paying to avoid this.
For those who travel business class it takes a lot less time because there is no queue a the business class security check.

That is kind of what I was thinking as well... I make it through security most of the time without any issues at all (the longest it has ever taken me is 1 1/2 hours in PHL... but that airport has tons of issues anyway).

Thanks for your feedback. Reply to this
