We were fortunate to travel to Argentina, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia Island and Antarctica for several weeks before the world shut down. It was an amazing trip.
We've had time to explore Memphis and areas near by.
We've had time to explore Boston and areas near by.
Reply to this Not the year any of us planned but we did manage Turkey, England and Wales and have discovered a lot of wonderful places not far from our new home in Wales
Reply to this No international travel in 2020. We all pray that this will change in 2021.
Reply to this Well.....for the first time in 20 years...not a lot of traveling like everybody else...South Africa, Seychelles...both considered as home in 2020....plus a fast run to Congo DRC, nights in Ethiopia as well as 10 days in France.....
Reply to this yes, I have travelled many place before the world's shut down but I have not travel internationally yet. .
Reply to this After a hectic 2019 in Mexico, Central and South America, 2020's events certainly thwarted our plans of heading overland from India to China. Nevertheless we have remained (and still do) in Asia. 2020 saw us head from India to Nepal, then Thailand and, just prior to lock-down, Laos. We thought we might stay in Laos for a month although this week sees our first anniversary here. It has to be said that the year has flown and we have been mighty fortunate with Covid barely touching our lives here (save our inability to actually leave). 2021 will not see a continuation of the current trip as twelve half page monthly visas (for Laos) have gobbled up what little space remained in my passport. Thus a return to Blighty is imminent as soon as flights resume and restrictions are eased.
Reply to this At least we made it to Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and Germany before everything started with Covid. Since then we explore a lot our home country, Switzerland.
