We're looking for information on making the trip overland from Nepal into Tibet and then onwards to China (without having to go back to Nepal). And possibly some travel buddies to cut down costs!
In mid-April we're looking to continue our trip overland from Nepal through to Tibet, and then onwards to China.
We've heard conflicting stories about needing to be on a group visa to get into Tibet from Nepal and then difficulties in breaking this to continue on from Lhasa into China. We'd be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this.
Also providing this is possible we'd be keen to hook up with some others who want to do the same so that we can share the costs of jeeps etc. We anticipate that the trip from Kathmandu to Lhasa will take about a week. So let us know if you're keen to join up.
Cheers
Suz and Dave
