Need suggestions on how to plan for a spring car trip through several countries in Europe.
Hey guys! I'm new here, awesome forums!
I'm wondering if you can share your expertise with me about taking road trips across several countries in Europe? I'm thinking to fly to Warsaw, rent a compact car (for me and my wife), and then drive to Barcelona through Prague, Berlin, possibly Paris. Google tells me it's about a 28 hour drive, so maybe a two day trip?
What I'm wondering is -- what is the best way to try to hit as many interesting spots along the way as I can? I'm interested in historic landmarks, amusement parks maybe national parks. Is there information like that available?
Thanks for all the help!
Reply to this How many weeks do you have for this trip? I can't believe you want to drive from Warsaw to Barcelona in two days, even if this is possible! Each of the cities mentioned deserves more than two days. Please provide more information...and review the blogs of others who have driven across Europe.
Reply to this You are right. What I meant was the trip itself would take two days. We have 2 weeks total.
I know what I can expect from big cities, i can google those landmarks. What I'm wondering is how I can find places worth visiting between well-known cities, landmarks, etc.
Excellent advise about reading blogs. Thank you sir!
Reply to this That's a long way in two weeks. Have a look at our blog to give you an idea of some amazing places to visit on route and the sort of time span - bearing in mind we were going at a fair pace. Happy travels
Reply to this Thanks for the tip! Your blog looks great! I will definitely have a read!
Reply to this Travelling in Car during your Tour is very Out class. That is own taste. In Europe PALERMO, and REYKJAVIK are the best places to travel your tour in car.
Reply to this Hopefully you will blog about your trip so we can enjoy it along with you.
