Hi all

I am in a dilemma. I have 19 days to go travelling at the end of March but I am torn between hiring a car and touring the coast of California or doing a whistle stop tour of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

I have wanted to go to S.E. Asia for many years and this is a great opportunity, as a single mum if I don't grab this I don't know if I will ever make it there.

But I also love American culture and am a movie and beach buff so to visit Venice Beach, Santa Monica and L.A. is really drawing me too.

I am a single mum but my daughter will be staying at her grandmothers which is giving me 19 days of freedom over the easter holiday.

Dont think, just pack your bag and go to S.E.A., like you said this sort of opportunity doesn't come around often.. Don't think! Thats what i think! You'll not be regretting S.E.A.. Reply to this

Go to SEA because it's probably easier to travel with your daughter to California than it is to travel with her in Asia. If this is a once and a life time opportunity, just go for it. Reply to this

Thailand. Ko Tao, Scuba diving. No contest! Its another world. Check out some of the blogs from there, you'll be back as soon as your daughter is old enough to join in. :-) Reply to this
