I'm a freelance nature photographer and tech geek. I guess that doesn't make sense - travelling and photography open up the mind. I believe that diversity is not an option - it is the only option. New & different experiences, new & different cultures, new & different ideas. We appreciate the "other" sides of life that (sadly) most people never get to know.
When not earth-trotting and shooting (photos not guns), time is spent with my square-headed girlfriend (laptop [:-)]. You are asking "What have these got to do with travel?" Nothing really. Just the other (geeky) side of me.

After working the phones over Christmas, I had the chance to visit my client. Problem was, I was in Nairobi, and my clients was about 270 kilometers north by road, a place called Doldol on the other side of Mt. Kenya. An early and hectic morning, to make sure I caught the earliest matatu (taxi). Hmmmm..... Did I say the earliest? Well, the matatu took off at 11am. Nice start! Two and a half hours later, we got to Nanyuki, the edge of the north. Usually, I have a calm way of dealing with everything that seems to be going wrong. This was one of them. Okay, the title is misleading - I'm way past 20.... That doesnt stop me from seeing & perceiving the world as a child would. Even a feather blown by the wind or a dropping leaf is enough to interest me. Somewhere in the dark depths of my computer is a large collection of shots taken in the bush, on the road, night, day, and some from places I frankly dont remember.
