In respose to Bob and Merry Jo's points about bloggers who are not currently blogging (but have been nominated for blogger of the week) - I really like the idea of a page/post where bloggers could identify when they were going to blog again. It would help save time checking on blogs, and I think it would also be a fabulous way to encourage bloggers to be part of the wider TB forum...

Before the moderators get a chance to vote on who is the blogger of the week I check through every blogger who has received two or more nominations, thus the list is reviewed weekly to ensure we capture all current bloggers.

In response to: Msg #159024 I just looked through Shelley and Scott's blogs and I agree with Dave that they are very good. I especially appreciate that they post the day and date at the beginning of each blog to indicate when what they are writing about happened...just kidding...somewhat. So I will third their nomination, not that it matters since they were already eligible for BoW consideration.
Reply to this EzeurHeather is wandering the world and is exploring history, ruins and cultures. I would like to nominate her for blogger of the week. A past peace corp volunteer.
Reply to this A member since 2005 and more than 100 blogs - she'll receive a second nomination from me!

In response to: Msg #158832 I will second AdamandLouis. After reviewing their blogs about their RTW starting with shipping their Land Rover to Nambia and then hitting most of southern Africa, and then moving on to Bali and South America, and now the yearly visits to exotic locations, I am confident that we will see much more from them. They should have been recognized at some pint in Africa, but better late than never!
Reply to this Teesside Travellers on an RTW finishing with New Zealand and then Alaska with a cruise to the lower 48. They have been blogging for awhile, and still have many more to go.
Reply to this Guided Meanderings is back in Thailand to teach for at least six months and probably longer. She had to shorten her last trip after a traumatic incident at Angkor Wat. So it is good that she is overcoming her fears and traveling and blogging again...making her leigible once again for Blogger of the Week.
Reply to this I would like to second the nominations for Teesside Travellers and Guided Meanderings. We will be enjoying their travels.
Reply to this I would like to nominate
Jenni for Blogger of the Week.
She had travelled extensively and posted 149 blogs on TB! Currently on a trip through South America...
Reply to this It is great to see former recipients of this Award (RENahDREW and HayExiomo) nominating other bloggers for the Blogger of the Week Award. Thanks again for participating in the nomination process!
