The last post here says there's no longer a 'Blogger of the Week', yet there's still a tab on the front page that says 'Bloggers of the Week'.
There are 10 recent blogs on that tab and some (but not all) of them have a 'Blogger of the Week' award (perhaps an historic one).
But why are they there and how did they get there?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We switched from Blogger of the Week to Blogger of the Month in March of 2017. We were not getting enough participation to present the award each week. I will talk with Jo and Ali about closing out this thread and making the Blogger of the Month more prominent.
Also, hopefully they can change the tab on the front to Blogger of the Month or Blogger of the Week/Month.
I'll have to get some direction from them.

Indeed.
What I believe is when someone received the Blogger of the Week award their blogs were automatically tracked to that thread. I assume but will need to check that the Blogger of the Month winners are going there also. Yes, that identifier needs to be altered.

Reply to this Ah, I think you're onto something there. They are, indeed, newly-published blogs by historic Bloggers of the Week (BOTW). Their BOTW award symbol doesn't always appear when you open one of the blogs featured in that tab, but it does if you open their profile page (a glitch, I guess).
As far as I can see, Bloggers of the MONTH don't appear in the BOTW tab - at least not the last two (Will Abney - July and Threes Company - June), although they may have been overtaken by the historic BOTW!
