Brummy for blogger of the week. He left the UK in 2005 for a trip to Thailand....it was life changing . He's on the road now and no need to worry about him. 82 blogs and 4,000 photos later he found himself sleeping on the floor of airport terminals, often short on cash, hits the road, enjoys the buses or other necessary transportation

SOUTH AMERICA: trip preparations for blogger of the week. They have been travel blog members since 2008 when they were traveling around Spain. 86 blogs and 700 photos later they are ready to hit the road again. Reply to this Thrilled to give the fourth nomination to El Jefe. While this in English means The Boss, this blogger is so much more unassuming and human/e. I was so touched by the way he speaks of his partner as, "the lovely K." Great photos and an openness to go to the places less traveled (my beloved Meteora in Greece).
Reply to this In response to: Msg #186680 I saw that all of you Followed him and couldn't understand why he hadn't been a BOW before. I haven't Followed him yet as that would give him 5. I hope that Ali fixes the award postings for BoW and PoW soon so that we can see whether a Blogger has already received an award.

Reply to this Duh--I just blew it. I'd read that too many of us had followed El Jefe, so because I thought I'd not done this, I checked to make sure. Unfortunately, instead of clicking on followers, I clicked on follow, and was his fifth follower. Indeed, I hope this ruling changes, so he can have his blogs on the front page and be seen by more people, and also have BOW status. It was my error, so I hope this won't be held against him.
Reply to this In response to: Msg #186710 Also, when I clicked on Burma, I consistently was sent to Bangladesh, except for once when I clicked on the top of the country's map (not on the name Burma), and then I was sent to India. Just saying....
