We'd love your help discovering new photographic talent here on TB - keep an eye out for great photos (published within the last month by bloggers with a maximum 4 followers), or 'second' photos already nominated.
Reflection photos are popular amongst photographers, but this is one of the best. Magnificent scenery and a great sense of space and place.
Reply to this For some reason I was attracted to this moment in time, caught on camera. Id like to nominate this photo.
Reply to this I'd like to nominate this one for both excellent color and composition.
Reply to this The blogger who took the following photo has a lot of amazing photos. It is difficult to choose just one for nomination. Maybe folks will check out her blogs to decide which is in fact the most worthy photo to nominate. Well, I will go for the following. 😊
Reply to this I only just now learned how to post photos here (thanks, Mell), so it's too late to submit. However, I just love the joyful look and bright colors of these dancers and wanted to share them. Thanks, Tara

Hi Tara,
This week's shortlist has already gone to voting - but please feel free to get involved in nominations for next week, or anytime in the future.
Photos need to have been taken by other TB members, have been published within 2 weeks of the nomination, and by a member with a maximum of 4 recommends.
Reply to this I would like to nominate Peckergreen for photo of the week.
Reply to this I would like to nominate Crouchy for photo of the week.
Reply to this Peckergreen already has a Photo of the Week, so isn't eligible -Suprising they only have 3 recommends though - some great photos there!
Reply to this Ah, yes, I'd forgotten Peckergreen had already won. He continues to do some good photos.
Reply to this Here's a very clear shot. One can almost see what he is thinking.
Reply to this I can't believe
Dancing Dave hasn't received a 'Photo of the week' award.
I think that for me he captures what I would perceive to be the very heart and soul of Africa in his pictures.
Check out the pics below: they are all superb although it is the first picture I am nominating.
Reply to this Whoops! Sorry! Just realised that he has more than 4 recommends! (Can't we make an exception in Dave's case??? )

Reply to this There's probably a hundred we'd want to make exceptions for if we started down that road.... :-)
The time to nominate Dave would be when
The TravelBlog Hall of Fame nominations reopen prior to TB's birthday in April. (He'll be eligible from 2013 onward)

Great to hear that because I'm so blown away by Dancing Dave's portraits, which I think are the most difficult photos to take. I'd definitely nominate him for Hall of Fame!
Reply to this This is a familiar photograph but difficult to capture. Very nice job and lighting.

Reply to this I would third/fourth Dancing Dave's nomination to The Hall of Fame when the time comes.
As for the the Roman Colosseum photo, it is indeed good, but I suspect it may not have been taken by TB member A5 Ramirez. Worth it to ask, I suppose. There seem to be a few students doing these RIHLA reports for school and many of their photos seem to be drawn from the internet.
Paul and Kattie's croc shot is pretty interesting. Gives me goosebumps imagining the moment when the croc grabbed for the bait.
