For Asia/Adventure I nominate AFGHANISTAN - KABUL
I am not sure adventure is exactly the word for it, but there isn't an appropriate category so I am selecting it as my adventure/Asia choice. 😊

This is really tough...

I think for Asia/Photography, I really liked Hong Kong, what a city!.

For Asia/Writing maybe We’re the GD SnowCones! Me and the Sea and my Dreamy Ass G. All of Tyrone's blogs make me laugh though so it's tough especially with the accompanying photoshop skills! 😊

Yes, a tough year and I haven't really read as many as I should have, but of those that resonate with me:

A year in North Korea -The MASS Games, when the slightest mistake impact the entire group - for Asia Adventure. Having visited North Korea I can assure you that Laetitia's ability to photograph and write about the training for the games is nothing short of stunning.

My stag weekend, Pamplona Bull Run - for Europe Adventure (the second nomination for this entry) - this one was hugely nostalgic for me.

Hope to add more nominations in the future.

Definitely second Mell on the nomination of Scott & Christy's blog Slowest express train to Monsoon Island for the Asia/Photography, really interesting pictures there!

Shane, thanks a lot for your nomination....and same here, read much less blog this year but the ice age internet connection while in North Korea didnt help...hopefully will do better next year!

Geeesh....."Revering" Boston is another favorite of mine too. Photography is superb. But I am not sure I am allowed to make more nominations. I am so confused I have made too many nominations 😊 Well, that goes to show how much I have been enjoying so many blogs on TravelBlog. And yes, that includes yours, Chris and Nikki! Well deserved.

Best Writing: Ijen - the search for the world's worst job - short blog which describes in a very concise way the fate & working conditions of sulphur workers, nicely done Ali!

MID EAST
Best Adventure/ Best Photos: Walking in the Shadow of Jesus - very rich in content & some stunning pictures! Shane beautifully shared the energy of Jerusalem through this blog, well done!

SOUTH AMERICA
Best Photos: The Undersea Treasures of the Galápagos Islands beautiful pictures both above and bellow water!
Best Writing: The Nursery of Arrieros, Mountains and Rivers-El Vivero del los Arrieros, la Cordillera y los Rios Steve's blog are always very rich in details, this last one about Chile is definitely worth a click

NORTH AMERICA
Best Photos/ Writting: The final chapter - going home after 31 months of travelling (Miami, Florida, USA) - great pictures & experience for this "the end" blog (although I do hope Ben that you will hit the road again as guess many people, me included, will miss your blogs, all the best to you in Germany)
