Who here is a Sagittarius or Pisces? These are the two signs most noted to enjoy traveling; Cancer is the sign that most likes home. And Gemini is noted for short journeys, usually by land... according to most Astrology texts....
...I'm wondering if these traits are true for people on this forum? I would appreciate it if you would reply with your sign(s), and if the relationship between these sun signs and traveling (or not travelling), is noteworthy for the people whom you know well?
For me, I have Pisces for my Sun and Ruling Sign (Ascendant), and a Sagittarius Moon, and I would say I've been very happy on my ever-expanding travels and wish to continue journeying forward in a positive way for a long time. Right now I am doing my best to balance my love for Travel (& Astrology) and cultivate my healthy love for working and "getting things together"... and so I'm enjoying living through many your awesome adventures, and remembering some of my own happy experiences, and looking forward to many more.

All these signs are funny things for me...every time somebody try to get through my details, it's a seriously nice outcome...after all....we all love to hear that our future will be full of love, great career and serious travelling...how yes...and if I want to win the lottery, I'd better start buying tickets!
To be honest I find it quite funny when people are leading their life in regard to astrology.
I'm more of the type who believe you built happyness through your own achievment, not trying to find excuses from outside.

For personal (and relationship) readings it's very helpful to have more details, and the most accurate charts can be calculated if you know your Time of Birth
As an introductory overview of your chart there are numerous website that you can plug in your info (and your partner's) and they will calculate a chart and offer a commentary about what the general aspects in your chart mean. It's a good place to start. (I would recommend www.astro.com)
For a more insightful and in-depth look at your self, seeking out a reputable professional astrologer for a reading can be most rewarding for learning about what types of energies you are playing with in this lifetime; Strengths, Weaknesses, Challenges, Opportunities, etc... PA Leslie, I respect your beliefs, and the way you see astrology. I see the map of the planets and stars at the moment I entered this world as the "imprinting of energies" on me from the cosmos. And there is nothing more inner than that, IMO, the only question is Can I find the meaning in the signs? It's not a free will vs. destiny thing, It's both, and so much more. Whatever floats your boat.

I was born in June, and my star sign is Cancer.
I like being at home, but I also like travelling a lot. If I had to give up either home or travelling, I would give up home.
I dont know if it is typical of Cancer or not, but what I love most about travelling is the variety it gives to my life.

Reply to this I'm a Sagittaruis (December 14th) this is my second time traveling, first time was supposed to be a three week trip but turned into 4 months when I couldn't force myself to leave south east asia, back on the road again with my Gemini boyfriend (May 24) and we have a plan to travel until we're beat (plan so far is for one year, with more to come after that). been on the road for a month now (mostly Thailand but prepairing for Cambodia and onwards)
