CORLEONE - See the bombed out church which looks like WW2 just ended last month.
CORLEONE - Stay at the Hotel Belevedere, eat dinner with the Godfather and make sure you accept his offer to eat a sandwich or a piece of cheese, no matter how full you are. I did not mind my Italian matters and almost paid dearly for it, with a 'Godfather Blessing'.
CORLEONE - Try to find a church open on Sunday, then walk to the Butte, climb the steps, pull the bell and wait for "Jesus Christ" to answer the door to the stone chapel.
ROME - Receive a Papal Blessing on Sunday mornings at noon in St. Peter's Square, Vatican City
VENICE - Ride the boat out to Murano Island and buy all your presents dirt cheap.
VERONA -Check in to the best Hotel Verona, then walk around the corner to the Silver Star Saloon. Tell them nuhart59 (George) sent you.
TORINO - Take the tour of the Madonna/Madamma Musuem
GENOA - See Christopher Columbus' house outside the gates of Barbaroosa.
HUELVA, SPAIN - See where Chistopher Columbus left the Franciscian Monastery to travel to the New World in 1492. The monks there helped him to get financing for the voyage from Isabella and Ferdinand.
CADIZ, SPAIN - See where they would journey to, on their way back from discovering the Americas. Stay nearby in ROTA!
Take the tour boat to Morocco, spend an afternoon having a meal in a REAL Moroccan restaurant with traditional music, shopping the bazaars, etc.
