hi all
i will be teaching in Tanzania from january till april 2010, and thats all fairly straight-forward and already organised - except return flights. the reason for that is some friends of mine will be backpacking in India from late march till june 2010, and so I was hoping to join them.
Unfortunatley so far all i can find are ludicrously expensive flights (in the £1000s!) - and a few vague mentions of cabins on cargo ships.
While I would love to do the romantic thing and get a cargo ship or take an epic train journey, I need to do whatever is cheapest as money is the key factor.
Im hoping there may be a few people on travelblog who have some experience travelling from east africa to india - all comments will be greatly greatly appreciated
