Traveling across Australia - Perth to Sydney.
I'm after any advice or experience about traveling across Australia, from Perth to Sydney, traveling along the coast. Travel times, car advice, activities, dangers, camping tips and places to avoid. Any comments are really very welcome.
As this will be my first cross country drive, I'm thirsty for knowledge. :p

If it's the great ocean road, sorry I can't help, but if it's up the west coast to the top end, across to QLD then down the east coast, then my wife and I did this trip a couple of years ago... Truly amazing.

For time I was thinking 3 to 4 months I'd like to touch a lot of places so a meandering course would be prefered.

I rarely see people going all the way round Oz. Is this not possible? it's something I would like to do.
