Ticked allows you to board any open seat, any airline, for one year?

An aquaintance of mine told me about an Around the World Ticket thing. She told me that it costs around $3k. If there is an open seat on any airline anywhere in the world, you can get on that plane. It last for one year. I've tried searching for it and found just a bunch of adds for around the world trips. I don't even know if it is real. Let me know if you've heard about anyting of the sort. Hi Justin - so this ticket is completely open?

Any airline?
Any flight? - just turn up at the airport?

Sounds awesome - but I haven't heard of that type of ticket either. Reply to this

Yes it does exist...it's call...go to the airport...chose a flight...go to the counter and check if they have a seat...

It's just going to be bloody expensive...with few visa restrictions....but it would be amazing to be able to to it...if only we could afford it!

But more simply, star alliance have someting like 17 airlines in it today, so this is the one who should give you the most possibilities in number of flights and cities available. Just go on their web site.

I looked up the Star Alliance airpasses and they look legit... and pretty badass. I think i just figured out what i'm asking my family for for graduation.

Paul just to let you know the one world ticket isn't too bad either.

I booked a Global Explorer ticket for later this year and it has cost me £2,700 including all taxes and fuel surcharge and I am using all 16 flight segments and am visiting 5 continents.

The One World Alliance is 10 major airlines with a few others that they also use added into the mix. This was the best ticket for me as it didn't restrict my air mileage and covered the continents I wanted to visit (South America and South Africa on one ticket is hard to achieve I found) Reply to this
