RTW Flight Nightmare....

I'm currently looking for a RTW flight and have been quoted £2250 with an extra £700 for taxes and fuel surcharge. I'm told its so expensive as I'm planning on visiting 5 continents. The ticket I am looking at was one of the oneworld explorer itineraries and got the quote from trailfinders. Unfortunately star alliance isn't the best for me as I am doing a big part of my journey around S America and they don't really cover this continent.

I also seem to draw a blank when I try to ring and speak to one of the member airlines direct about booking this type of flight.

Does any one have any suggestions? or does anyone know of another company who can help me out and find the best deal?

I think the price sounds not too far off. We booked one world through STA travel for 4 continents and paid £2200 in total for one ticket inc. tax but the taxes were also about £700. STA were offering a cheaper round the world ticket but it had more restrictions - like paying for date changes and more limited routes - it didnt suit what we wanted but maybe it could work for you.
