We've been trying to find out more about this journey including costs etc but all the websites we find seem to be package deal style things (like a thomas cook tour) or crazy prices €2000 etc. Has anyone any recommendations on a decent website to book this through or to find out more info?

My husband is over 35 so the vodka train is ruled out!

Also i heard that there was a train from cologne to china via russia but i can't find any more info on this as it was a word of mouth recommendation from someone who had been in Germany - anybody know anything about this route? Reply to this
