After a six mile run past the beautiful burns beach, Philip takes us on the train to Kings Park to meet Cameron and Johanne for coffee and a play in the park. It is also quite sad as we have to say goodbye to Bobby's Godmother Johanne as we are leaving on a jet plane tomorrow :-( Were going to miss lots of people as well as places over here. We then decided to go on the Free Botanical Tour of the Park as soon as the lady starts wittering in Latin about plant names we make our excuses and settle for the stunning views of the city from the park and finishing our book while watching the sun set and the city light up, truly breath taking. Hello world! I have missed you. However, the weekdays leave much to be desired... As far as interesting things to post in here I guess, haha. The weekends are exciting though, as I'm sure you have noticed. :) Alright... Thursday. Thursday my plan was to scoot right from work to a place called Garden City. It's an "elephant-sized" shopping mall. Well, it was big. I would actually compare it to the one in Ann Arbor or Lansing. So, "big" if you're talking about Jackson Crossing or the Westwood, I guess. Anyway... I emailed Annette to wish her a happy girl's weekend because I wasn't coming in Friday and I hadn't been able to catch her in her office. Thursday 4th May to Thursday 11th May 2006 Work! - yes work!! At Everbloom Flowers in West Leederville - a 20 minute train ride from Fremantle. The snag was getting up at 5.30am!!! wooah! That was pretty hard first of all! It was just to help out for Mother’s Day and help fill buckets of water, collect the flower off the conveyor belt, put the stickers on… I even had to put some bunches of roses together! As you know working with flowers is more or less my idea of a nightmare! - especially with hayfever!! he! he! Luckily I didn’t sneeze too much.
