Well friends- It’s the last stretch. This is my last weekend to explore and breathe in Australia! Hello World! Today I saw the Australia that I was expecting when I got here. :] Minus the animals, haha. But I hiked and explored and photographed and adventured like I was getting paid! I stayed at Annette's last night because she has a second job outside of Uni. She sells "Undercover Wear". It's bra's, panties, jammies, and normal clothes too. She said she can usually rake in about 200-300 dollars if it's a good party. Generally they last 3-5 hours, so when she left, Harry and I weren't expecting to see her before we fell asleep. Rene and I were hopping in his car to head to the Palidrome (?) and it wouldn't start! Such a bummer. So needless to say we didn't end up going to meet the cyclists and talk about the future plans. I think we're aiming to head out next Tuesday instead. I sure hope so, I was really excited about it. Also, today and tomorrow I am helping out with practical/final exams ALLLLL day. 8am-4pm we're talking. Hey world! So... I decided that because everyday last weekend I spent "working". That this weekend I am going to spend "playing". Three weeks have been completed on campus, and I only have five more to get all my adventuring in!!! So the plan: The days might get switched around, but I plan to hit the Aquarium, downtown Perth and King's Park this weekend and the Ocean (OR BUST!) on Monday. Ok. So I worked that Footy game, it ended up being a sort of "reserve" for WAAFL I guess. But mostly they were older men. A few younger guys, but I understand that most of them are over 24 or something. They all took to me pretty well, I taped most of them. I guess they loved it. Which made me feel good. They also offered me a job! I'd make 40 dollars a game, but I dont want to commit every Saturday to Footy. I want to have fun. Hey hey! So, I'm glad I didn't jump the gun and book that tour, there are SO many that are completely free. You just wander the bush at your own pace, jumping on and off trails. There are little huts or cabins to stay in. So exciting. This weekend I am "putting my foot down" haha and not volunteering for anything related to my internship. Well... it's been awhile. I suppose I was holding off because I wasn't really in the greatest of spirits this past week.
