Toptastic day we get a package from home with cards and presents from Bobby, Harry and Lucy. woo hooo very emotional absolute love them. Were celebrating as England have beat Australia in the 20/20 cricket as well as the ashes now so if we beat them again do we get to keep them? Monday is no training day so Jayne and her friend take us to Whiteman park to meet Lions and Tigers and bears oh my well actually kangeroo's,wallabies and Kola's. we get to feed the kangaroos and one gives me a kiss! They smell abit but no worse than sharing a room with Philip. They even have albino ones. There are also kolas which are nearly as cute as me. Philips favourite are the flying foxes which are bonkers. we also see Tasmanian devil ... read more

1-12-09 Went to the skin clinic early today & had a few sun spots burnt off then we went to Fremantle , which is a nice spot, It is a very old town with lots of old buildings, it is known as a Port Town. We headed for the beaches & had a look around the Port & Port Beach , Leighton Beach, which is the Dog beach. We took the girls for a walk along the beach , with I don’t know how many dogs, a few. We then went through the town & into the Cappuccino Strip & eatery’s & then we went to the harbour & left the girls in the car while we had lunch on the Pier Harbour. We had a great day & came home & then I went ... read more

After leaving Bunbury we traveled towards Fremantle/Perth, stopping on the way at Mandurah. Mandurah is similar to Sunshine Coast. They have built lots of canals and the very rich have built their mansions and their elaborate apartment blocks on the canals. There was one really huge mansion that was built by a millionaire for his holiday house a number of years ago, but has only stayed in it for a total of 2 weeks, some people just have way too much money lol. Along the beginning of the canals is some very small very old cottages that are worth about 1.6 mil each. We went on a dolphin/canal cruise that took us through the canals and through the new area called little Venice because it had little tiny bridges over the canal. We were lucky it ... read more

Just a quick update today. Last Wednesday we decided to go on an afternoon coach trip to the Swan Valley and Caversham Wildlife Park. The Swan valley is very beautiful, full of vineyards and quaint farming properties. The first stop of the tour was at a chocolate factory. I was quite disappointed here, as you could only look through a small window into the factory and couldn't really see much. We did get to taste some of the chocolate though which was probably the best part! From the chocolate factory we went straight to Caversham Wildlife Park. I was really excited about going here as I've never seen Koalas or Kangaroos before. On the way into the park we actually got to see some Kangas in the wild! The Koalas were one of the first things ... read more

Good evening all, what a busy weekend... Friday night saw my friends and i take a boat cruise up the Swan River. We left from Fremantle and cruised all the way up the Swan River to Perth and back. It was great to see the city by night from the river, it looked very pretty all lit up. We also cruised past Blackwall Reach where we went cliff jumping last week, you could really see how high it was! The sky turned a beautiful orange colour as the sun was setting and the evening was beautifully warm. We took a trip to Perth Zoo on Saturday morning, and although zoos aren't really my thing, it was great fun seeing koalas, kangaroos and dingos for the first time. Unfortunately it wasn't a petting zoo but i'm hoping ... read more

On the 10th we drove down to Geraldton for the night on our way back down to Perth. It's about a 9hour drive from Monkey Mia to Perth so doing it in 2 days... We stopped at "Shell Beach" on the way as it is said to be a must see. The beach is fully made of millions of tiny shells that have naturally built up over the years, ther is no sand at all! On the 11th we left Geraldton to get to Perth. Found the only campsite in Perth, only 7 km from the city centre so really usefull for us! Had to book though on our way down as it gets really busy! Went into town for a couple of hours to sort out dropping off the car and getting to the airport... ... read more
