Hello again! We have now officially been living in Richmond for 6 weeks and you could say that life here has become a routine, in a good way of course =) We spend most of our time working around here but we also get to go out and see things. A couple of weeks ago Jamie drove us outside of town and then me and sunny walked along a dried out river to get back to the city through the bush. It was pretty cool, we saw heaps of Kangaroos and cows and we almost got lost on the way =) Things are very different from home out here. We had an early start today to try and beat the heat. I think it hit about 41 degrees at Richmond today, where we are staying for the night. If you want isolation we have certainly got it. I think we are the only holidayers staying at the caravan park. There are just a couple of other workers here. It is a really lovely park set right next to this lake, but unfortunately it is too hot to really enjoy it. Peter and I went to the local pub to have a couple of coldies and then went back to the campervan for a nanna nap. We both slept untill about 8.00pm. I am now cooking dinner in the 'air-conditioned' camp kitchen. Richmond is renowned for its fossils. We are in dinasoar country!... read more

Hallo, Reserved some time to go into Kronosaurus Corner, a splendid visitorcenter concerning the discovery of very old remains of prehistoric animals that lived in the nearby disappeared sea. Richmond is know to be a very good place to look for fossils.
